This is “Merinos” Afghan handmade rug.

It’s 100% handmade, with a Wool foundation and strongly tightened knots to ensure durability for the rug. The dye of the wool is from natural vegetables and minerals. This was made to make sure the colors do not fade away even after a long period time. The dye itself is one of the reasons so many vintage Afghan rugs maintain their natural vibrant colors even after 50+ years as long it avoids direct sun light.

Very durable and meant to last for a lifetime without losing it’s quality. Excellent for high usage areas. 100% Wool with an additional Wool Foundation at the root.

Very easy to clean: with a vacuum cleaner or a simple shampoo + water for any stains.
