This is a brand new Afghan rug “Khal Mohammeadi” rug made with the wool of sheep on a cotton foundation. This beautifully designed rug will enhance your living space. This rug is made by Afghan Turkmens in the north of Afghanistan.
The fibers are densely packed and the carpet has an overall nice weight to it. The colours are a lot more pigmented that in the photos… so while the reds and blues in the picture shown come off as more of a rosy red and navy blue… it’s actually a DEEP ox blood and inky blue. The colors however take on a life of their own in different kinds of light.
