Description

A Beautiful hand-knotted Kazak rug is made in Afghanistan with good Wool from Ghazni Afghanistan. This rug is a brand new, strong that will last long.

The Kazak designs originate from Old Caucasian rugs and are now mainly knotted by Hazara tribes in Central Afghanistan. This method of hand-knotting and weaving is called Hazara Baft or sometimes Chapat Baft meaning ‘flat’.

The Kazak rugs are very tightly knotted and made with 100% wool on a cotton base. All the yarns used are vegetable dyed.
